Ranking NCAA Football Teams with Linear Algebra

Abstract:  The current BCS formula in college football is an average of the AP Poll, Coaches’ Poll, and a computer average.  There are six computer rating systems that are considered in the computer average.  Presented here will be two of the ratings systems currently used, as well as alternative methods.  All methods presented use linear algebra to compute rating vectors.
