Non-Gaussianity in Passive Transport

Abstract:  We discuss some recent results showing non-Gaussian PDFs in the evolution of a passive tracer advected by various random, incompressible flows.  Stemming from recent work submitted to the Journal of Statistical Physics, we extend results for the white wind to several interesting cases.
