Long term behavior of
stochastic PDEs
Abstract: I will discuss stochastic dynamical systems in
general. I will show some concepts which can be be used to
investigate there long time behavior. Then I will specialize to
stochastic partial differential equations and show some of the new
issues which arise in infinite dimensional stochastic dynamics. I will
illustrate the ideas with a number of classical model
problems including: stochastically perturbed reaction diffusion
equations, fluid equations, and iterated maps.
