Hotels:
The Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel The Chapel Hill Sheraton Hotel lies on Europa Drive, along 15-501. A block of rooms has been reserved for presenters. Please contact the organizers for information.

Carolina Inn The Carolina Inn lies on the corner of South Columbia Street and Cameron Avenue. It is directly across South Columbia Street from Peabody Hall, which is next to Phillips Hall.

Best Western University Inn This hotel lies on Highway 54. Travelling to the hotel from Phillips Hall, travel down Cameron Avenue, until it intersects with South Road. Turn left, go down the hill, and travel one mile to the University Inn. It lies right on 54, and can be easily seen from the road. The University Inn lies about five minutes from campus.

Restaurants:
There are many good restaurants in various places in Chapel Hill.
Franklin Street lies one block north of Phillips Hall, and these restaurants can be found there, along with many others.
  1. Franklin Street Pizza and Pasta: An excellent pizza and pasta restaurant. Food is very reasonably priced, and quite good.
  2. Cosmic Cantina: A Mexican restaurant with most items in the neighborhood of five dollars. It sells individual items, but not really meals.
  3. Subway
  4. Woody's: A sports bar which sells a variety of American food items.
  5. McAllister's Deli: A typical deli with very reasonable prices.
  6. Top of the Hill: A fairly upscale restaurant with signature beers brewed on-site.
  7. Ben and Jerry's
  8. Ye Olde Waffle Shoppe: A waffle shop.
  9. Quizno's Subs
  10. Bandido's: A Mexican Restaurant with big burritos.
  11. New York Pizza: This restaurant serves very good pizza.
A few restaurants can be found at the intersection of 15-501 and Mount Moriah Road. From Phillips Hall, travel down Franklin Street to Mount Moriah Road. The mall is on the right side of 15-501 travelling in this direction.

  2. Kanki: A Japanese restaurant.
  3. Bob Evan's
At the intersection of 15-501 and Garrett road is a mall that contains a few restaurants as well. From Phillips Hall, travel down Franklin Street, and merge onto 15-501. The restaurants should be easy to see from the road. You will have to make a left turn coming from the campus, so it is best to be in the left lane.
